Job Description Capitol Design Build LLC, Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Kitchen and Bath Designer.If you have a love of meeting people, being creative and providing great customer service, then this is the position for you!Position is responsible for creating designs from existing customer requests for kitchens and baths, performing job site visits and measures, and meeting with customers to complete the selection process.This position comes with an opportunity for growth and leadership.Our superior, well designed showroom with operational Kitchen and bath displays and with high quality product lines is an example of Ownership's dedication in success of our exceptional and talented employees.Competitive salary based on prior experience with a great potential to make moreResponsibilitiesAs Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will:Work with a wide range of customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell and specify cabinets and other products, which may include lighting, appliances, and high end fixturesRespond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery informationPrepare job quotations and submissions.Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while utilizing suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accuratelyManaging multiple jobsContinually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the fieldWork with other Showroom personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyondQualificationsPrior experience in sales within Kitchen and Bath industry will be considered. A successful Kitchen and Bath Designer will possess the following:2 to 4 years experience with interior design; selections coordinator with residential new construction or remodeling industryPreferred Knowledge of 20/20 design softwarePreferred experience with house call and interior installation processAbility to learn new computer skills quicklyDemonstrate passion for detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communicationExtensive cabinetry and other products knowledgeA strong sales presenceMotivated individual that can work in a team environment as well as independentlyProblem solving, leadership and listening skillsOrganizational and time management skillsThe ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledgeCompany DescriptionKitchen and Bathroom Showroom in Lorton.
