About the Role As a Precision Grinding Specialist, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by ensuring that specialty components meet exact customer requirements. You will leverage your technical expertise in machine operation and quality inspection to drive production efficiency and maintain the highest standards of precision. Responsibilities Configure, calibrate, and operate grinding machinery to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality finishes. Translate complex customer manufacturing specifications into precise machine programs and setups. Perform rigorous quality inspections on finished units, utilizing advanced measurement tools to identify and correct any deviations. Proactively troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Develop and document standardized operating procedures to streamline machining workflows and improve output consistency. Collaborate with production teams to ensure project timelines are met while upholding safety and quality protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating or programming manual and automated machining tools. Proven ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and design sketches. Proficiency with precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and profilometers. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement in a production environment. Preferred Skills Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operations and data analysis. Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software for machine programming and process optimization. Prior background in high-precision metal fabrication or specialty manufacturing sectors.
