In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based solutions that ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across our systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to architect solutions that address complex data quality challenges in large-scale environments.Key Responsibilities:Architect and Design Solutions: Lead the design and architecture of Java-based applications and services that address data quality requirements. Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.Data Quality Integration: Work closely with data engineering teams to integrate data quality frameworks into Java applications. Implement real-time and batch data validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.Data Quality Frameworks: Develop and implement data quality frameworks that can be leveraged across various projects. Ensure that these frameworks are adaptable to different data sources and business requirements.Performance Optimization: Optimize Java applications for performance, especially in relation to data processing and integration tasks. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to data quality processes.Collaboration: Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data quality requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews to ensure that Java code adheres to best practices, particularly in the context of data quality. Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on data quality implementation.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs, data quality frameworks, and implementation processes. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest developments in Java technologies, data quality tools, and best practices. Propose and implement continuous improvements to the architecture and processes.Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all data quality solutions comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Experience:10+ years of experience in Java application development and architecture.5+ years of experience in data quality and data reconciliation solutions.Technical Skills:Deep expertise in Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA).Experience with data quality tools and frameworks such as Apache Griffin, Talend, or Informatica.Strong understanding of data management principles, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation.Proficiency in designing and implementing data reconciliation processes.Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the financial services or healthcare industry.Certification in data quality or data governance tools.Experience with big data technologies like Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Access to cutting-edge technologies and projects.
