We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Apr 1, 2026. This position requires 24-hour in-house coverage, from 8am to 8am, focused on inpatient pediatric care. The role encompasses managing admissions and inpatient cases, performing lumbar punctures, and general pediatric rounding. While the position includes calls from a newborn nursery, newborn rounding is not required, and full subspecialty back-up is provided. Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24 hour in-house coverage from 8am to 8am. Manage 5-6 admissions per 24 hours. Oversee 10-12 inpatient pediatrics cases per 24 hours. Respond to calls from newborn nursery, with no newborn rounding required. Perform lumbar punctures. Deliver inpatient pediatric care, including admissions and rounding on the general pediatric floor. No newborn care responsibilities. Work within a facility offering NICU and PICU on site. Utilize full subspecialty back-up. Additional Information Board Certification required in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. EMR: Epic.
