This role involves a variety of production tasks, including but not limited to shearing, cutting, sorting, blending, and operating a briquetting press. Proficiency in operating a forklift is essential.Key Responsibilities:Machinery Maintenance and Repair: Assist with the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and conduct routine preventative checks.Equipment Handling: Operate front-end loaders and other machinery, performing necessary preventative maintenance.Facility Clean-Up: Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility to ensure a safe working environment.Documentation: Complete floor shop paperwork accurately and input data into terminal systems.Fire Prevention Training: Participate in fire prevention training to enhance workplace safety.Requirements:Experience: Previous experience in a production environment is required.Education: High school diploma or GED.Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds.Pay and Shifts:Shift: 2nd shift, from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.Compensation: $23 per hour, with an additional 10% shift differential.If you are a dedicated worker with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply.
