POSITION TITLE: DriverREPORTS TO: Logistics ManagerDEPARTMENT:Position Summary:The Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials, goods, and equipment to various locations within and outside the company. This role ensures that all deliveries are made in a timely, safe, and efficient manner while adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. The Driver will also assist with loading and unloading goods as needed and maintain the vehicle in good working condition.Responsibilities:Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, goods, and equipment to designated locations.Follow scheduled delivery routes and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding transportation.Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle.Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle, including checking oil levels, tire pressure, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and in good operating condition.Ensure accurate documentation for deliveries, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and any necessary paperwork.Report any accidents, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries to the Logistics Manager.Assist with organizing and preparing deliveries in the warehouse as needed.Collaborate with team members in the MTD department to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and practices.Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager or other supervisory personnel.Skills and Qualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Proven experience as a driver or in a delivery-related role.Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 pounds).Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.Ability to work independently and handle deliveries efficiently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations.Other Details:Work Environment: Manufacturing floor and external delivery locations, exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.Physical Demands: Active role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of materials or equipment (up to 50 pounds).Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for extended hours or weekends as needed to support delivery schedules.Travel: Frequent travel required to make deliveries to various locations.ADA Compliance: Alinabal is committed to providing reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
