This position ensures that all parking lots are cleaned, team members are in place, and guest cars are parked quickly and efficiently.We Are Currently Looking For aSplish Splash Parking Lot LeadRoles & ResponsibilitiesSupervisory Duties:Assist with the daily supervision of the Parking team and any other assigned departmentsLead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Splish Splash core valuesAct as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team membersBecome knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all parking positions and backfill these positions when neededParticipate in new-hire orientation and training activities for all assigned employeesEnsure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with NY lawAssist with team scheduling and timekeeping activitiesDepartmental DutiesWelcome guests to the park, while guiding them to an open parking spotSale daily parking admissions and process Point of Sale (POS) financial transactionsTrain parking team members on how to park cars efficiently and safelyEnsure the smooth process of parking carsCourteously assist guests with questions and complaintsAssist in directing guests to the proper parking space, when neededFollow the designated safety procedures when directing cars in the parking lotEnsure that all vehicles are parked in an efficient mannerPrevent guests from carrying unauthorized items through to bag checkMaintain overall upkeep of the parking lots and transportation vehicles, including trash clean up and removalDirect emergency services such as fire and police in the event of an emergencyAssist with special parking details in emergency situations or for special eventsAssist other Guest Experience departments as neededAll other duties assigned by leadershipPay Rate: $18 / hr.Education & ExperienceNo education requirements for this rolePrevious related work experience preferred but not required Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age to comply with New York Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or moreWorking ConditionsSubject to frequent exposure to outdoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditionsSubject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities Team Member BenefitsWorking at Splish Splash is about making people happy.
