Warehouse Associate/ Driver

As a Warehouse Associate / Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by performing various warehouse duties, including pulling orders and safely loading, unloading, and receiving materials, as well as being customer-facing when making deliveries as needed. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities: Preparing orders for local deliveries, ground and freight shipments Processing, picking, packing and shipping orders accurately Loading/unloading trucks; company trucks and vendors Inspecting items for defects and reporting as required Restocking and maintaining an inventory of orders as needed Making deliveries in and around Houston Maintaining a safe and clean environment Maintaining a harmonious work environment Communicating and cooperating with Co-workers, supervisors, customers and vendors Following all company policies and warehouse / driver procedures and safety measures Driving Commercial Truck for pick-ups and deliveries as needed Requirements: High school diploma or GED One year of experience in a relevant warehouse setting preferred Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks Experience driving large trucks preferred (26 foot) Basic experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Able to follow directions while working in groups or independently with excellent attention to detail Able to move up to 75 pounds and handle weight while on MHE Have a great attitude and willingness to be a team player Able and wiling to learn new computer systems pertaining to receiving, inventory and other warehouse functions Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check Basic math skills and must speak, read and write English Physical stamina and dexterity for the work involving lifting and moving heavy loads Driver's license with an excellent driving record, CDL preferred More about the role: Boxes4U aims to provide product to its customers FAST. When it's hot outside, it's warm inside. When it's cold outside, it's cold inside. We provide fans and heaters for comfort. Ideal schedule is 9-5PM This role pays $20 per hour
