DescriptionThe SAIC Innovation sales team strives for excellence and is looking to add a highly motivated Principal Technical Sales Executive to join our team. This internal position is responsible for learning, positioning, and closing SAIC's suite of commercial offerings. Additionally, this role will also include sales of SAIC's strategic partners and the joint capabilities of the partnerships. The primary markets for this role will include Space/ NIC agencies. This position is an internal position and is based in the Washington, D.C. metro region. You must have the ability to work closely with both business development and CTO organizations, articulate complex solutions, build and maintain executive level relationships, navigate across a variety of organizations/business units, and proactively drive SAIC's commercial business.This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate. The right candidate is self motivated, wants to position cutting edge offerings to solve the most difficult and complex problems, and has a desire to close our commercial offerings in federal civilian markets.As a Technical Sales Executive Senior Principal you willBe responsible for working with federal civilian business development, technology subject matter experts and leadership staffAssist SAIC in building lasting client relationships and delivering exceptional customer serviceBe independent and enjoy moving from one customer to the next as you continue qualifying and closing new opportunities within the pipelineParticipate in strategic planning sessions with customer success and business development teamsWork collaboratively with sales counterparts, pricing, contracts, subject matter experts and other supporting teamsPrepare sales contracts and purchase order invoices for the commercial offeringsHelp internal customers better understand SAIC's Innovation offerings, while capturing their requirements and needsArticulating and creatively converting end user needs and requirements into executables for SAIC business development teamsMaintain an updated and accurate sales pipeline in CRMGenerate sales forecasts and brief sales pipeline to leadershipQualificationsRequirementsBachelor's Degree and 10 Years of experienceThe ability to get a security clearancePrevious experience working with/in a lead solutions integrator or consulting firmPrevious experience working with or supporting space agenciesMotivated with excellent organizational skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently, but also manage expectations of both customers, employees, and peersStrong communicator - written, verbal, listening, and presentationStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to implement systematic approaches to scale within a fast-paced environmentAn aptitude for understanding technology products and solutionsUS CitizenWorking knowledge of SalesforceWorking knowledge of JiraMS Office SuiteSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
