Job#: 3034170 Job Description Paralegal 3 / Marketing Compliance Reviewer Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Contract Length: 6 months (strong potential for conversion) Role Overview This role involves participation in moderately complex paralegal initiatives and deliverables. The selected candidate will contribute to large-scale planning related to paralegal tasks, review and analyze paralegal challenges, and collaborate with legal personnel to meet deliverables while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Review marketing and advertising materials for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Ensure consumer-facing content aligns with regulatory requirements such as TILA, FCRA, and UDAAP. Assess marketing materials for potential legal, regulatory, and reputational risks. Collaborate with marketing, legal, and compliance teams to provide feedback and recommendations. Interpret regulatory guidance and apply it to marketing content reviews. Identify and escalate compliance issues or concerns. Maintain documentation of reviews and decisions for audit and compliance purposes. Support risk mitigation efforts within marketing and promotional activities. Required Qualifications 4+ years of Paralegal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Knowledge of consumer protection and marketing compliance laws (TILA, FCRA, UDAAP). Developed written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience reviewing marketing or advertising content in financial services. Familiarity with regulatory expectations from federal banking regulators. Legal or compliance background related to consumer financial products. Juris Doctorate (JD). Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $44.00 and $47.00 per hour.
