Robot Programmer
Overview
***THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION (12-18 months) WHICH MAY LEAD TO DIRECT HIRE**
Join our innovative manufacturing team as a Robot Programmer and play a vital role in advancing automation processes across our production lines. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in robotics and mechanical systems within a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment committed to continuous improvement.
Potential position locations include: Spring Hill, TN; Fort Wayne, IN; Kansas City, MO; metro-Detroit, MI area with up to 75% travel required.
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/knowledge:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Robot Programming, with a majority of experience programming Fanuc Robots
OR
1 year of experience in Robot Programming AND an Engineering Degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics.
GM experience preferred
Ability to set up and run the GM Wizard software to identify different applications for Fanuc Robots.
GRS Certification
Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends, if needed.
Ability to path program industrial robots for manufacturing purposes.
Ability to troubleshoot system errors.
Ability to analyze robotic processes for improvement.
Must be able to self learn robotic controllers.
Experience with logic controllers and distributed control systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
