Job Title: Facilities Maintenance CoordinatorPrimary FunctionThe Facilities Maintenance Coordinator oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator creates and executes strategies to ensure the effective operation, maintenance and enhancement of our physical office infrastructure and tenant occupied locations, including in TX, LA, PA, and our other U.S. locations. This position will be based in Pasadena, TX.This role provides great opportunity to learn all aspects of facilities maintenance which may lead into a future role in Facilities Management.Required Education & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; 2-year degree in Building and Construction or related field. Bachelor's degree a plus!A minimum of 2 years of hands on commercial property or facilities maintenance experienceValid state driver's license with a clean driving recordTechnical literacy in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipmentKnowledge of laws, codes, regulations, and statutes relating to construction and/or maintenance of buildingsAbility to manage, oversee, and prioritize multiple projectsMust be able to meet the physical requirements of the job description that are attached.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and RepairsMust have technical capabilities to perform troubleshooting, required minor repairs and maintenance tasks across the property portfolio in multiple states.Coordinate and oversee all maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems where major repairs are required.Safety and ComplianceEnsure facilities meet all safety codes and regulations, including fire safety, emergency preparedness, and accessibility standards.Vendor ManagementManage service contracts with vendors for services and maintenance as required.Budgeting and Financial ManagementAssist in the development and management budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects.Project ManagementOversee renovations, construction projects, and other facility-related initiatives at multiple locations.Skills and QualificationsTechnical SkillsKnowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)Ability to read technical manuals and blueprintsProject ManagementAbility to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects effectively.Financial ManagementUnderstanding of budgeting, cost control, and contract management.Communication and Interpersonal SkillsAbility to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and other stakeholders.Problem Solving and Decision-MakingAbility to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.Strong organizational and time management skills4 Horn Management is an Equal Opportunity company.
