Shipping and Receiving Associate

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming materials, supplies, and products.What We Offer* $15.00 per hour* 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM* Health benefits, including telehealth medical services* Referral programWhat We're Looking For* High school diploma or GED* Associates degree, highly preferred* 1 - 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment* Forklift certification* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment* Strong attention to detail* Ability to stand for long periods of time* Ability to lift 26 - 50 pounds* Ability to stoop and bendWhat You'll Do as a Shipping and Receiving Associate* Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition* Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used* Record received and shipped items according to established procedures* Supervise processes and procedures in receiving and shipping department* Ensure that goods are verified against records of shipment* Oversee the inspection of goods received* Supervise the maintenance of records of damaged or defective items and discrepancies in quantities and weights, and record time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials received or shipped* Responsible for ensuring goods are shipped as required to manufacturing facilities if recycled materials, or to customer location or distribution center if finished goods* Perform other tasks as assigned
