Export Compliance Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a background in building export compliance programs to manage and continuously improve the program. The candidate will have strong subject matter expertise, in-depth knowledge of encryption regulations, dual-use export classification and licensing requirements, an understanding of hardware and software development life cycles, and an understanding of the regulations' global impact on technology solutions. The candidate should have strong program/project management skills, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop requirements for new compliance solutions, and be creative, self-directed, and a great team player.Key Job ResponsibilitiesConduct export classification reviews for intangible items (e.g., software and technology) associated with the products, partnerships, development projects, vendors, suppliers, and infrastructure maintenance.Manage the collection of information and preparation of certain global trade licenses and declarations, including deemed export licenses for certain employees to access controlled technology, track U.S. and non-US license/authorization expirations, and renew/maintain authorizations.Manage compliance and reporting obligations associated with certain US and non-US licenses/authorizations.Monitor regulatory changes, run enterprise-wide risk assessments based on regulatory updates to export controls, and assess impacts.Develop and manage metrics for management reporting on export compliance programs, with a focus on intangibles.Execute other projects in support of the global trade compliance program.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree required.5+ years' experience in export compliance in a global corporate environment, including experience in U.S. export classification (under the Export Administration Regulations) with a focus on software and technology and in-depth knowledge of encryption regulations.5+ years of experience working with engineering teams to determine export controls.5+ years of experience using SNAP-R.3+ years of experience managing an export classification program.Preferred QualificationsExperience with export controls for hardware.Experience with non-US export regulations.Experience with sanctions compliance.Benefits401(k).Dental Insurance.Health insurance.Vision insurance.We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity, equality, inclusion, and respect for people.The salary will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, location, relevant education, qualifications, experience, technical skills, and business needs.Additional ResponsibilitiesParticipate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.About UsAt OP, we help you harness the power of technology for maximum impact.
