This role, on the Project Manager career track, supports key engineering functions, including procurement and expediting of construction materials, while driving excellence in heavy civil construction.Responsibilities:Procure materials and ensure timely deliveryPrepare detailed cost estimates for proposed changesUpdate contract plans and master schedulesOversee and manage submittalsTrack materials, coordinate projects, and enforce safety standardsAnalyze, review, and update job cost informationProcess change orders per project owner requirementsManage subcontractors effectivelyRespond to RFIs from owners and subcontractorsCompile and deliver close-out documents, including drawings, warranties, and service manualsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree2-7 years of experience in large-scale heavy civil aviation construction projectsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholdersDemonstrated expertise in bridge and concrete construction projectsStrong knowledge of heavy civil construction practices, techniques, and safety standardsProficient in project management software and toolsExcellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyRequirements:Experience in large-scale heavy civil aviation construction projects, including bridge and concrete workProficiency in using project management softwareStrong understanding of construction safety protocols, particularly for heavy civil and bridge projectsExperience in managing subcontractors and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely project deliveryApplicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
