Oracle Database Administrator

We are partnering with a leading technology consulting firm that provides comprehensive digital and cloud solutions to global enterprises, empowering them to navigate complex IT landscapes and achieve operational excellence.The Role Provide 24x7 production support for databases across on-premises and cloud (Azure, Google Cloud Platform) environments. Administer, monitor, and maintain databases in production and non-production environments. Implement and manage backup, recovery, tuning, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery strategies. Coordinate and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support deployment activities and resolve database-related issues. Automate routine operational tasks using scripts or management tools.What You'll Need 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA managing multiple database technologies, specifically Oracle. Strong SQL scripting and database troubleshooting skills. Expertise in automating and optimizing routine operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, SQL, Shell scripting, Python). In-depth knowledge of backup/recovery, high availability (Clustering, AlwaysOn, DataGuard), and performance tuning. Experience with database monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Nagios, and automation frameworks like Ansible and Terraform.
