The role focuses on replacing manual, ticket-driven processes with scalable, event-driven workflows and API-based integrations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise workflow automation and orchestration solutions.Build REST API and SaaS integrations across HR, Finance, Collaboration, Project Management and AI platforms.Develop custom automation using Python, JavaScript or Node.js.Create event-driven workflows using JSON, OAuth, API keys and webhooks.Build RPA/browser automation when APIs are unavailable.Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions.Develop reusable workflows, templates and integration frameworks.Establish automation governance, version control and release practices.Partner with business, security, IT and enterprise architecture teams.Support multiple automation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Must Have7+ years in software engineering, systems integration or workflow automation.Strong hands-on API integration and enterprise SaaS integration experience.Experience with workflow orchestration/automation platforms.Strong Python, JavaScript or Node.js skills.Solid knowledge of REST, JSON, OAuth, API Keys and integration patterns.Experience with business process automation and requirements analysis.Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.Nice to HaveAutomation governance and release management.HR, Finance, Procurement or enterprise platform integrations.AI service/workflow integrations.Low-code/no-code automation platforms.Operational transformation/process improvement.
