Office Assistant (Temp-to-Perm) – Baltimore OfficeLHH is partnering with a professional services firm seeking an Office Assistant to join its Baltimore office on a temp-to-perm basis. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, executives, and visitors, providing front office, administrative, and office operations support in a fast-paced corporate environment. The position offers strong exposure to a professional services setting with long-term growth potential.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-site)Compensation: $24–$29/hour + commuter/parking stipendConversion Salary: $50,000–$62,000 once permanentKey ResponsibilitiesFront Desk & ReceptionServe as the primary point of contact for all visitors and incoming callsGreet guests and notify internal staff of arrivalsMaintain a clean, organized, and professional reception areaManage a multi-line phone system and route calls appropriatelyCoordinate meeting room scheduling, setup, and breakdownMonitor conference rooms and ensure readiness throughout the dayArrange courier services and assist with visitor logistics as neededOffice Operations & AdministrationHandle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveriesCoordinate shipping via carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and USPSMaintain mailroom supplies, postage equipment, and vendor coordinationPrint, assemble, and bind documents for internal and client useMaintain and update internal documentation and shared office resourcesSupport general administrative needs across the officeCatering & Events SupportCoordinate catering orders for meetings and office eventsSet up and break down conference rooms for meetings and eventsMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and catering areasProvide onsite support for internal and external events, including occasional early morning or evening coverageBuild and maintain relationships with local vendorsQualificationsPrevious experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or office support preferredStrong interpersonal skills with a professional and polished demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential informationPositive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethicComfortable working fully on-site in a professional office settingBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
