Essential FunctionsInforms appropriate manufacturing employees and supervisor of machine performance irregularities to minimize the impact of production downtime.Minimizes production scrap, including materials and coffee products.Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Operates packaging equipment with safety guards and switches in place, and follows all safety procedures and regulations.Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.Monitors and documents package quality using analytical tools.Ensures that package appearance, labeling, seals, case and pallet configurations comply with product specifications and quality standards.Participates in process improvement activities. Maintains scheduled throughput to meet team goals for reliability and budget standards. Maintain the line by ensuring all daily and weekly PMs and sanitation are completed.Willingness to champion other activities as requested by operations, engineers and Camerons leaders.Employees are responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and maintaining an awareness of training or education that will assist them in improving needed areas of their present job performanceGiving and providing guidance to downstream packaging personnel.Ensure that the product meets all SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsStrong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.Stand for 6+ hours, 5 days a week.Concentration and focus while doing a repetitive jobAbility to listen, learn and act accordinglyWillingness to learn from mistakes to grow and enhance skillsAbility to manage and prioritize daily and weekly tasksDemonstrated problem solving skillsBasic technical aptitude and/or willingness to learn equipment detailsPhysical DemandsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift 50 pounds.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ear protection is provided.Protective toe foot protection is required.The position will be five days per week and while each work will comprise of two consecutive days off, required workdays may occasionally fall on a weekend.Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
