Apply via Dice today!This position will design & at times lead a team of support professionals focused on supporting multiple technologies including new cloud technologies as they are implemented by our customers.RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement advanced functions of Azure and Office 365 Premium including security, governance, and complianceStrong understanding of features and capabilities of Azure (Security, Firewalls, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Load-Balancers)Building Advanced PowerShell scripts to deploy, configure, and maintain Office 365, Azure and on prem resources.Manage and secure Microsoft Windows Server/Clients including Group Policy in a virtual/cloud environment and using PowerShell scripting to VDI, Windows, and Citrix applications.Configure, manage, secure, and troubleshoot active directory organizational units, group policy, and remote access.Cloud competency understanding and the complexity of the issues that arise in migrations and deployment to the cloudInstall, configure, upgrade and maintain workstations and servers. Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating systems hardware and software configuration database/library.Install and upgrade new software systems; report and assist in recommending resolutions to networking and operating system problems.Monitor and fine-tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.Conduct routine hardware and software audits.Analyze and resolve problems associated with servers, hardware, and software in a virtual environment.Aid in the development and deployment of new applications concerning LAN/WAN performance, OS, PC server and client capacity, disaster recovery and security.Participate on the beta phase of Cloud products and services development teamsSupport rapid Cloud solution implementations and customer engagements related to Cloud computing solutionsDesign and conduct tests and evaluations of IaaS systemsEnsure cloud-base systems meet confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements any relevant/associated compliance needsPerform root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions for service interruption recoveryExcellent written and communication skillsDevelop operational best practice for all current and potential future Cloud technologiesOTHER DUTIES:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related technical discipline or a minimum of 8 years Information Technology Infrastructure experience or Associates degree with minimum 10 years Information Technology Infrastructure experience WORK ENVIRONMENT: Typical noise levels for an open, cubicle-styled environment. This position can be full-time remote based on location in the U.S.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires periods of standing, walking, and the use of computer equipment. Additional physical demands include, but may not be limited to, talking or hearing, push/pull, stooping, kneeling, reaching w/hands and arms, and lifting at least 10 pounds.WORK AUTHORIZATION: Authorization to work in the United States is required.
