This position supports vessel port operations by managing shipment documentation, coordinating cargo movement, and assisting with customs clearance processes. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to grow in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate data entry of shipment, manifest, and routing informationReceive and review manifests and supporting documentation from vessels calling portCoordinate with customs brokers to ensure shipments are properly clearedCommunicate with onboard documentation managers to resolve questions or discrepanciesWork with trucking companies by providing manifests, documents, pickup instructions, and delivery detailsCoordinate with operations teams to distribute shipments for final routingRequest, verify, and enter applicable charges into company systemsMaintain organized files and records for all shipments and transactionsProvide timely updates to internal teams and customers as neededJob duties may be added or taken away due to operational / business needs and requirements.QualificationsStrong data entry and computer skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma required; college students or recent graduates encouraged to applyExperience in logistics, transportation, or customs documentation is a plus, but not requiredCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $16.22 - $25.50Starting pay is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
