Regional Transportation Manager

We are looking for a high-energy, driven Regional Transportation Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building strong teams and strong customer relationships.Position SummaryThe Regional Transportation Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing all transportation activities within the assigned region. This leader will bring energy, urgency, and a hands-on approach to driving performance, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations while maintaining exceptional communication and service with customers.This role requires someone who is visible, engaged, and proactive — a leader who communicates clearly, responds quickly, and builds trust with both internal teams and external customers.Key Responsibilities· Oversee daily transportation operations across multiple terminals· Lead, coach, and energize terminal managers, dispatchers, and driver teams· Foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and high performance· Communicate consistently and effectively with customers to ensure service expectations are met and exceeded· Proactively resolve service challenges and maintain strong customer relationships· Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and all federal/state transportation regulations· Manage regional transportation budgets, KPIs, and cost controls· Optimize routing, fleet utilization, and asset management· Champion safety initiatives and maintain a strong safety culture· Analyze operational data to drive continuous improvement· Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, supply chain, and customer service teams· Manage carrier and vendor relationships as neededQualifications· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)· 5–10+ years of transportation/logistics experience· 3+ years in a regional or multi-site leadership role (preferred)· Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and regulatory compliance· High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven leadership style· Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently with customers and executive leadership· Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibility· Proficiency in TMS systems and transportation analytics tools· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsKey Competencies· Energetic, hands-on leadership· Exceptional communication skills (internal & customer-facing)· Customer-first mindset· Strategic thinking with operational execution· Data-driven decision-making· Strong accountability and follow-throughWhat We Offer· Competitive salary range from $100-$120K depending on experience· Comprehensive benefits package· 401(k) with company match· Cell phone allowance
