In this role, you will lead and support installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation equipment introduced to the factory. You will mentor technicians, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with engineers tomaintainand improve automated systems.WhatYou'llDoInstall, commission, andoptimizeautomation equipment.Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot robots and secondary equipment to minimize downtime.Collaborate with engineers and technicians on design, fabrication, and problem-solving.Train technicians on technical skills, standards, and equipment.Design and implement jigs, fixtures, and automation solutions.Work with electrical (AC/DC), pneumatic, hydraulic systems, servo motors, sensors, and HMIs.Conduct safety reviews, risk assessments, and equipment confirmations.Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper functioning of interlocks.Support programming and equipment specification development.What We SeekVocational/trade school degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.8+ years troubleshooting/programming Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, servo/stepper drives, and robots (Fanuc,Sepro, Star).Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to read/update electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.Proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Good communicationskills;abilityto train others.Ability to lift 50lbsand work occasional weekends/OT.Outstanding Candidates Will HaveKnowledge of SolidWorks or CAD.Advanced robotic programming and PLC troubleshooting.Experience with injection molding, machining, cleanroompractices.Familiarity with vision systems (Keyence), AMRs, AGVtraffic control.Experience in equipment procurement and installation.What We OfferAt Entegris, we invest in our employees andpromotefrom within.
