Remote - Billing & Collections Administrator
AQuity Solutions, an IKS Health company is seeking to hire an experienced Billing & Collections Administrator.About IKS Health: www.ikshealth.comWhat’s the Job?Reporting to the Global Revenue Manager, and as a part of the Revenue Accounting Team, work closely with key finance, billing, and business teams to provide monthly support of various billing and collections functions. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the overall revenue cycle from billing to cash collections.ResponsibilitiesCustomer MaintenanceReview new contract terms and validate set ups in billing systemsUpdates customer contact cards for purchase orders, email addresses, and other fields in billing systems to ensure accurate invoice delivery.Processes customer terminations in billing systems.Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Month End.Create client invoices based on contracts for each billing frequency – bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly basis. Invoices may cover multiple lines of business.Execute assigned responsibilities for the monthly close process, ensuring all items on the close checklist have been completed,CollectionsCommunicate weekly with assigned customers via email and/or phone regarding their AR balanceCollaborate internally for additional contact information and escalation tactics to resolve overdues.Investigate and resolve disputed invoices, request and process billing corrections when neededProactively improve timely payments, encouraging electronic payment and/or establishing payment plans.Assist and coach global collections team membersUpdate account status and collection efforts in the ERP systemReport on collection activity and accounts receivable statusGeneral and Special ProjectsWork and collaborate within a team environment to share knowledge and informationAssist with documenting, maintaining, and ensuring that policies and procedures (internal controls) are in place to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.Communicate timely and effectively both in-person and working remotely status, progress challenges to ensure timely completion and review of all work deliverablesIdentify and plan procedures to improve current established processes and systems.Perform a variety of special and/or ad-hoc projects.RequirementsA bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.2+ years of progressive accounting experience.Proven analytical skills to evaluate the reasonableness of results and projections.Proven advanced-level system skills within ERP, reporting tools, strong Excel skills, and Microsoft applications.Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Highly driven and self-motivated.Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.Intermediate to strong proficiency in Excel.Compensation and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $50K - $60k a year.
