Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector will be a member of the Quality team in our precision metal fabrication facility supporting the aerospace and defense industries. We are looking for someone with a background in quality control with strong computer skills. Job Responsibilities: Perform and document inspection of incoming parts – machined components, hardware (rivets,screws,fasteners, etc.) and visual inspection of plated parts. Perform in-house calibration of inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) Work in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality and safety standards Maintain good attendance Other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Mechanical Inspection: 2 years Sheet metal: 1 year Excellent blueprint reading skills; including basic GD&T knowledge Proficiency using inspection equipment (i.e. caliper, micrometer, height gauge…) Inspection equipment calibration skills and First Article (AS9102) knowledge a plus Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) computer skills ISO9000/AS9100 Environment Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
