Electrical Technicians
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations by maintaining electrical infrastructure, production machinery, and control systems in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipmentTroubleshoot electrical failures involving motors, control circuits, sensors, relays, and PLC-controlled systemsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtimeRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical manualsMaintain and troubleshoot motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, and power distribution systemsAssist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant expansion projectsSupport PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) including I/O checks and fault diagnosticsEnsure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and lockout/tagout safety proceduresDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accuratelyWork closely with mechanical maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (Technical or vocational training preferred)3+ years of electrical experience in industrial or manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (120V-480V, 3-phase power)Experience with motors, drives, contactors, sensors, and safety devicesAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervisionWillingness to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and on-call as required Preferred QualificationsElectrical Technician, Journeyman, or Industrial Electrician certificationPLC troubleshooting experienceExperience with automation systems and production linesBasic understanding of hydraulics and pneumaticsCMMS experience for maintenance tracking
