Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 05/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift) Location: Orange, CA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3×12‐hour shifts NO first‐time travelers – HARD STOP Minimum 2 years L&D experience – HARD STOP Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for high‐risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients Manage labor patients with conditions including: Pre‐eclampsia/eclampsia Hypertension Diabetes Preterm labor Multiple gestations IUFD and fetal anomalies Administer and manage medications such as: Magnesium sulfate Insulin drips Antihypertensives Perform continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and intervene for abnormal FHR patterns Assist with and independently manage: Vaginal deliveries High‐risk deliveries Cesarean sections ( must circulate ) D&C, cerclage, versions Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams Document accurately and timely in Epic Required Qualifications (ALL HARD STOPS) Active RN license (must be active; no pending licenses) Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience Travel experience required (no exceptions) Ability to circulate for C‐sections Certifications Required: BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate (or NCC EFM accepted) Must submit ALL RTO at time of submission Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Travel pairs not accepted About Hanker Systems Inc Healthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the right talent to support quality patient care.
