Environmental Health Safety Specialist

D2D:The EHS Specialist – Industrial Hygiene will support a fast-paced Environmental, Health & Safety team, playing a key role in protecting employees and ensuring compliance across operations. This team is critical to maintaining safe working environments, requiring strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and efficiency.This role will focus on core industrial hygiene functions including air monitoring, sample collection and handling, data analysis, ventilation assessments, radiation safety, and reporting. The specialist will also support sampling strategies and ongoing monitoring of industrial hygiene programs, standards, and processes.The EHS Specialist will work cross-functionally with internal teams and contractors to execute project goals, drive compliance, and foster a collaborative safety culture for our client. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety.Qualifications:Must-Have:High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate's degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experienceExperience working in a Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment.Experience with identifying implementing and testing effectiveness of appropriate control technologies for potent compound manufacturing and handling.Experience auditing, writing, and updating SOPS (standard operating procedures).Experience in conducting incident investigations.Nice-to-HaveExperience in Project Management and Lean Concepts.
