Manage the meal program in the absence of the Food Services Supervisor.About the role:Plan, prepare, and serve meals in conjunction with Food Services SupervisorMaintain a sanitary work environmentMonitor donations and other food and non-food inventoryHelp create and maintain a comfortable and respectful environment for guestClean and properly arrange the freezer, cooler, and pantry on a weekly basisUnder the direction of the Food Services Manager, report meal counts for the Summer Food Service Program.Provide seasonal support as requestedBe available to work nights and weekendsOther duties as assigned by the Corps OfficersEducation: High School diploma or equivalentCertifications:* Must have completed the Restaurant Servsafe Certification program or will complete within six (6) months of hire* Must have valid driver's license and pass MVR requirements for Salvation Army insurance.Experience: One year food service experienceSkills:* Ability to relate to individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds* Ability to be a self-starter; can work independentlyThe Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
