Product Analyst
Product AnalystOptomi, in partnership with a dynamic solutions organization, is looking for a Product Analyst to join their Product team within the broader Solutions Org, including Product, Design, Engineering, and Data. This role is the first dedicated Product Analyst hire aimed at supporting Product Management with product usage and behavioral analytics. The successful candidate will own the Amplitude event tracking tool's usage, accuracy, and governance, ensuring data consistency and providing actionable insights that influence the product roadmap and usability improvements. The position requires a proactive individual comfortable working independently and partnering cross-functionally with various teams.What the right candidate will enjoy:Thriving in an ambiguous, fast-moving, growth-stage environmentOperating independently while making a significant impactCollaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Data Engineering, Front-End Engineering, and DesignWhat type of experience does the right candidate have:Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, merges, CTEs)Hands-on experience with event tracking tools like Amplitude, SegmentUnderstanding of event tracking taxonomy and data consistency standardsAbility to combine event-level data with warehouse data using user IDsFamiliarity with relational databases; Snowflake experience is a plusWhat the responsibilities are of the right candidate:Own and standardize the event tracking taxonomyValidate event tracking data, ensuring consistency and surfacing insights about usage trends and behavioral patternsPartner with front-end engineering to ensure correct event and property implementationCombine event data with application/server-side data to build aggregated views showing behavior and core product funnel metricsAct as the 'data/usage expert' for the product team
