CMA/LPN Dermatology
Full time – 40 hours per week.
Location: Sheboygan, Wisconsin, United States.
This position will work 3 days in Sheboygan and 1 day in Manitowoc from June 15, 2026 to June 14, 2027. In June 2027 the rotation will change to the Green Bay market. Please ask the recruiter if you have any questions.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for pre‑visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions, and carrying out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. The role is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the visit.
What you will do
Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
Prepare patients and assist providers with in‑office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards; ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Education Qualifications
Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program. (Required)
Experience Qualifications
Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as an MA/LPN obtained through professional work or clinical rotations. (Required)
Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred)
Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (Preferred)
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of principles and skills needed for a practical nurse or medical assistant to provide patient care.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments used to administer patient care.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

Ability to prioritize work and meet changing demands.

Proficient in EMR systems, computer, phone, and office equipment.

Licenses and Certifications
If holding other licenses that supersede a CMA/RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with the approval of Quality Resources in writing, to be kept on file with the department supervisor.
Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. (Required upon hire)
Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. (Required upon hire)
CPS/BLS Certification – Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from an approved program or Prevea‑sponsored program. (Required upon hire)
