This individual will work in a manufacturing environment to integrate PLCs, databases, and industrial applications. This person works closely with manufacturing team that owns machine design and PLC development, as well as automation, IT, and OT network teams across the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop screens and reusable components within Ignition and Perspective, as well as maintain full stack ignition projects including SQL Server Development.Integrate Ignition with ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN) via APIs and Data Lake, as well as other business systems.Manage tag, script, and SQL database functionality.Develop real-time dashboards and HMI interfaces for shop floorImplement error handling, data mapping, and interface templatesCollaborate with IT, controls engineers, quality, ERP and manufacturing teams to define requirements.Participate in on-call support and incident resolutionSupport deployments and version control of Ignition projects.Maintain documentation and ensure system reliabilityParticipate in DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelinesUse Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence (or equivalentsQualificationsRequired QualificationsEducationBachelors degree or equivalent demonstrable experience.Required Skills/Experience2-5+ years of experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation. Ideal candidate will have at least five years.Proficiency developing in Python.Familiarity with Perspective frontend.Experience with SQL database interaction and SQL best practices.Strong understanding of SCADA, HMI, and industrial automationExperience with REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, and ERP integrationFamiliarity with manufacturing workflows and data visualizationExperience in manufacturing environments is a plus but not requiredUnderstanding of Agile Methodology.Preferred Skills/ExperienceExperience in manufacturing environments is a plus but not requiredUnderstanding of Agile Methodology.
