Alexander Technology Group is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for our client in Greater Boston. This role will focus on working on 3D Visualization Components of a medical device product. The person will lead enhancements in real-time 3D rendering and advanced visual technology. This is a hybrid role.Required QualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years' experience in software developmentStrong programming experience in C++Experience with OpenGL and 3D graphics programmingSolid understanding of object-oriented programming principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to understand user needs and design intuitive user interfacesAbility to manage multiple projects in parallelExperience with full software development lifecycle processesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Qt (QML is a plus)Experience developing on Linux platformsFamiliarity with Agile and Scrum methodologiesUnderstanding of medical device standards such as IEC 62304, IEC 60601, ISO 14971, ISO 13485Experience with software tools such as Git, Jira, and JAMAExperience mentoring junior engineersQuick learner with adaptability to master complex systems and new technologiesSalary Range: $150k - $180KATG456
