Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Madison, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,240 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour ; Mid 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours; 8 hours Experience: Two years minimum as a staff therapist required License: WI RCP required Certifications: NBRC - RRT required; BLS required - AHA ONLY Must-Have: Pediatric and adult experience required; Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital experience Description: Provide assessment and treatment of patients in a medical and surgical population. Be comfortable working autonomously using Respiratory Therapy Protocols. Act as an important member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Serve as a resource to physicians and healthcare professionals. Knowledge of various respiratory conditions and treatments, including ARDS, respiratory distress syndrome, and RSV. Proficient in performing basic EKG, intubation, extubation, and pulmonary hygiene. Experienced in using aerosols, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula. Capable of performing sputum specimen collection and tracheostomy care/management. Skilled in interpreting arterial blood gases and conducting chest physiotherapy. Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required. Travelers may be scheduled in multiple units, depending on current staffing needs. Individuals must have active telemetry competency on file.
