Primary Responsibilities
As a Professional Engineer on our team, you will perform structural calculations and prepare construction documents for a wide variety of challenging projects. You should have a strong knowledge of mechanics of materials, wood design, reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry design. You must have a good understanding of, and the ability to read and interpret structural calculations and construction drawings.
Specific Duties
Develop full construction documents (drawing and specifications) for complex structural systems and renovation projects
Perform site observations for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
Write clear and concise reports
Assist in the training and professional development of EIT's
Effectively communicate within TSP's multidisciplinary system of architects & engineers along with building owners, property managers, and contractors
Keep updated on applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations
Champion TSP

Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration
Registered as a Professional Engineer
Knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit and Enercalc is preferred
