Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering menus and explaining daily specials with enthusiasm and clarity Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and wine pairings to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and reset dining areas efficiently between guests Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and dietary restrictions Experience Prior fine dining experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with upscale service standards Proven background in food service or restaurant environments, including roles such as host/hostess or server Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and cashiering Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine focus on guest satisfaction Familiarity with culinary terminology and kitchen operations enhances service quality Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication to hospitality elevates every guest’s experience.
