Overview:
As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines on the Google Cloud Platform to enable trusted analytics. You will collaborate with stakeholders to shape data infrastructure, warehouses, and lakehouse solutions, driving reliable data flow and governance. Your role combines data engineering with full-stack skills to raise performance and cost efficiency in a modern cloud data platform. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define data requirements
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure for collection, storage, transformation, and analysis
- Plan and maintain data pipelines, models, and applications for efficient workflows
- Design and develop data platforms (data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse) for structured and unstructured data
- Develop analytical tools, scripts, and automation to support data engineering activities
- Ensure performance optimization and identify improvement opportunities
Key requirements:
- 5-7 years in Data Engineering or Software Engineering 2+ years deploying cloud-based data platforms on GCPStrong SQL, Java, and Python
- Experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProcSOA and microservices understanding in cloud data platforms
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, NoSQL, and columnar databases (BigQuery)
- Knowledge of data governance, encryption, masking in cloud environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, Tekton), automation frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
