MAKE READY TECHNICIAN
Immediate Supervisor: Maintenance Supervisor
Personnel
Follow and maintain the preventative maintenance programs established within the company.
Review daily work order priorities with the Maintenance Technician Supervisor at the beginning of each day.
II. Maintenance
Ensure all vacant apartments are ready prior to move-in by completing a Make-Ready Checklist of needed services and repairs. Complete all services and repairs correctly and on schedule.
Inspect vacant apartments and inform the Maintenance Technician Supervisor of needed repairs and services.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, minor maintenance requests, routine preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed.
Monitor the physical condition of the community and immediately report and correct maintenance issues.
Other duties as assigned.
III. Administrative
Assist Maintenance Technician Supervisor by conducting inventory of supplies and parts needed.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of maintenance or make-ready experience preferred; multifamily experience a plus.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work indoors/outdoors.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow checklists and deadlines.
Reliable, professional, and able to work well with the Maintenance Supervisor and team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must pass background screening; on-call availability may be required.
