SummaryThe Training Facilitator II provides training support for assigned contract(s) under general supervision. Provide technical support, including the test, evaluation, validation, and certification of training devices.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReview training curriculum and documentation to ensure development is in accordance with specificationsDevelop and update program training budgets, schedules and milestones; develop training presentations and issue papersParticipate in the testing, inspection, and installation of training devicesProvide technical assessment of training devices and report results to the customer Facilitate training programs to selected workforce segments and assess resultsReview and comment on equipment facility requirements, system specifications, development specifications and other program documentationDevelop training device engineering change proposalsProvide work direction to lower-level training personnelDevelop, track, and report training metrics as requiredAbility to travel overnight as required to satisfy J-Tech II contract, training, and employee development requirements, as neededMust be able to drive/travel to remote locations over rough terrainPerform all other position related duties as assigned or requestedOther Related DutiesEach employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job. QualificationsEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a technical discipline, or equivalent formal training and experience, and at least seven (7) years of job-related training experience. Core CompetenciesMust possess good communication skills and demonstrated proficiency in operating application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs are requiredMust possess planning/organizing skills Must be able to work under deadlinesMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust qualify for and maintain a government security clearanceMust possess a valid, state - issued driver's licenseWork Environment, Physical And Mental DemandsThis position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. Tere is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
