Hiring: Senior Appian DeveloperiShift is looking for a senior Appian developer for a federal clientbuilding a new enterprise booking and scheduling application from theground up. One dedicated seat, embedded with the client's team, hands-onfrom requirements through post-MVP stabilization. This is a build role,not a maintenance role.What you'd be building:• A unified self-service request portal replacing several disconnectedintake channels, with a guided wizard that routes each request to theright fulfilling group• Back-office dashboards and reporting for the staff who work the queue• Integration with an existing Appian room reservation application sobookings flow through to the right team automaticallyMust have:• 3+ years developing full-time on Appian• ACTIVE Appian Senior Developer or Lead Developer certification — thisone is non-negotiable and lapsed credentials don't count• 5+ years in a related IT role• Web API development• Configuring Appian with complex API integrations, data structures,business rules, and group/user security• Leading requirements workshops with non-technical stakeholders• Performance tuning of Appian processes and interfaces• MariaDB (preferred), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MSSQL• HTML, CSS, HTTP, JSON• Microsoft Office including Visio• Agile/Scrum• Able to pass a federal background checkWhat makes you stand out:• Appian solutions that schedule requests across multiple assignableresources• Appian integrated with the Microsoft Graph API for calendar events• Pentaho PDI or comparable ETL• ClickUp• Local to the DC metro area
