About the Opportunity:The IT Technician I (Remote) is responsible for delivering remote IT support, resolving technical issues efficiently, and maintaining system stability and security. This role combines reactive troubleshooting with proactive maintenance tasks to uphold service quality. The position contributes directly to client satisfaction and operational reliability by ensuring timely issue resolution and preventive upkeep of IT systems.3. Responsibilities:• Respond to urgent tickets and client calls to diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely• Provide support across varying shifts for 24/7 coverage• Resolve workstation operating system issues (Windows and macOS)• Troubleshoot printer and peripheral device problems• Address standard business application issues, including Microsoft Office• Support common line-of-business applications such as CRM, VoIP, and Microsoft 365, coordinating with vendors as needed• Handle basic networking issues related to endpoint connectivity• Perform patch management and system updates• Manage disk space and cleanup tasks• Remediate vulnerabilities and apply firmware updates• Review alerts and perform system performance tuning• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent issues4. Requirements:• Experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments• Background in Helpdesk or Technical Support roles• Skills in application troubleshooting, PC deployment/imaging, and user profile management• Experience working with third-party vendors for issue resolution• Proficiency supporting Microsoft 365/Office, Adobe applications, Active Directory, backup solutions, endpoint security tools, and mobile devices• Experience in a Managed Service Provider environment is preferred• Home office setup including:- Computer with minimum 8GB RAM, Windows 11 (Intel i5/i7 8th gen or newer) or AMD Ryzen 5/7 (2000 series or newer), or macOS 12 or newer- Stable internet connection with minimum 5 Mbps download and upload speeds- Quality headset with noise cancellation- Smartphone capable of installing Microsoft Authenticator app- HD webcam and second monitor- UPS if using a desktop• Strong cultural fit aligned with organizational values• Excellent spoken and written English• Availability to work full time, 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday to Friday• Ability to pass online behavior and cognitive assessments• Preferably hold at least two certifications among CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or 3cx Basic Certified Engineer• Ability to provide NBI Clearance (for Philippine applicants)5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Pay rate starts at $4.59 per hour and may vary by experience and location6.
