Pathology Supervisor

Under the direction of the Medical and Administrative Lab Directors and in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures and NYSDOH standards, supervises the operations of the pathology department. Provides supervision to employees assigned. Demonstrates proficiency in all testing procedures/polices in accordance with SOPM (Standard Operating Procedure Manual). na Requirements: EDUCATION: Minimum: BS Cytotechnology, BS in Laboratory Science, BS health related science or meets requirements of NYSDOH. LICENSE: Minimum: Licensed as a Cytotechnologist, Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Histotechnologist required. PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum: Four years pathology experience Preferred: Previous supervisory experience and/or demonstrated ability and interest in supervision. SKILLS: Minimum: Demonstrates technical competency, organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Shift: Day Shift Compensation: $87297.00 - $100656.00
