The Associate Investment Research Analyst will bring strong data, analytical, and interpersonal skills to drive strong risk‑adjusted returns in one of the largest financial markets in the world.
Job Summary
The Associate Investment Research Analyst is an entry‑level position on the Structured Products Research team, designed for individuals seeking deep exposure to structured credit markets within a rigorous, research‑driven investment platform. The analyst will work closely with senior analysts, portfolio managers, and traders to contribute directly to the investment process by conducting in‑depth issuer, collateral, cash flow, and sector research across assigned structured product sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop investment skills and abilities for primary research responsibility of one or more Structured Product sectors.
Interact with issuers and dealers, attending meetings and conferences as needed.
Combine quantitative and qualitative research to form forward‑looking investment views.
Gather, manipulate, and store large amounts of data for analysis of investment opportunities.
Complete on‑going surveillance of portfolio holdings to assess credit performance.
Build and maintain relationships with multiple sell‑side parties.
Propose and contribute to independent and group research projects.
Contribute to team discussions focused on investment opportunities and performance.
Complete ad hoc projects at the direction of senior analysts and portfolio managers.
Automate tasks to improve efficiency of investment process.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field with a strong academic record.
0‑2 years of experience in structured products, securitized credit, fixed income research, trading, or risk.
Acute attention to detail, strong analytical and quantitative skills, and a proven ability to distill practical answers from large amounts of data.
Self‑starter with an ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet time‑sensitive deadlines, often with vague or unclear directions.
Passion for investments and financial markets with an explicit interest in fixed income and structured products.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience collaborating effectively across teams and with clients.
Programming experience in any language.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with a variety of AI applications and tools.
Ability to scrub and query data from database systems using SQL.
Progress toward, willingness‑to‑complete, or completion of the CFA designation.

In‑Office Collaboration
We are a client‑centric, relationship‑based business. Working together, in‑person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in‑office time or different in‑office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated base salary for this role is $105,000 - $125,000 per year. We have a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long‑term incentives depending on the role.
