Learn more about joining the Celldex Team today!The Associate Director, Patient Marketing will lead the development and execution of the US patient marketing strategy for barzolvolimab in preparation for first commercial launch. This role is responsible for defining the patient journey, understanding key behavioral drivers, and building patient engagement and activation strategies to deliver a world-class launch.Reporting directly into the Vice President of US Marketing and Commercial Operations, this individual will work cross-functionally with HCP Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and external agency partners to ensure the patient perspective is embedded across brand strategy, patient support programs, and launch planning. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking and deep digital marketing expertise from either consumer products or pharma/biotech experience.Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the US patient marketing strategy for barzolvolimab in preparation for product launch Define the end-to-end patient journey, including identification of unmet needs, key behavioral drivers, access barriers, and activation opportunities Develop and implement patient engagement and activation strategies, with a strong focus on digital, omnichannel, and performance marketing approaches Partner with patient advocacy organizations to inform patient insights, education initiatives, and engagement strategies Integrate patient experience insights into overall brand strategy, launch planning, and Patient Support Programs (PSPs) Collaborate cross-functionally with HCP Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, and Patient Services teams to ensure aligned execution Manage the patient marketing budget, including agency and media, and ROI assessment Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred 5+ years of commercial experience within consumer products, biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing, patient marketing, or performance marketing roles Proven experience identifying where consumers engage digitally and developing strategies to connect, resonate, and activate patients Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics to drive patient engagement and activation Recent consumer or patient-focused marketing experience preferred Prior product launch experience in consumer health, biotech or pharma preferred Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable plans Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams Ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders around shared goals Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams, advocacy partners, and external vendors Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting priorities in a pre-launch setting Willing to share, debate, challenge, defend your ideas Courage to embrace and lead change Demonstrated ability to succeed in a startup or pre-commercial biotech environment, with a strong execution mindset: plan → organize → execute Travel Required – 25% CompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $153,616 to $199,501.We are committed to compensating employees equitably based on several factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, skill level, location of the position, and availability of similar talent in a competitive market.Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive, 401(K) plan with employer contribution, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
