SALES ANALYST
Primary PurposeFormulated Solutions is looking for a Sales Analyst that will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by analyzing sales data, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance sales performance and drive business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders. Success in this role will be determined by sales process efficiency and growth target achievement.Key ResponsibilitiesData Collection and Analysis:Gather and analyze sales data from various sources, including CRM systems, sales reports, and market research.Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data to provide insights and support decision-making.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, revenue, profit margins, and customer acquisition costs.Reporting and Presentation:Prepare detailed sales reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings to senior management and sales teams.Develop sales forecasts and projections based on historical data and market trends.Analyze the performance of sales campaigns and strategies, providing recommendations for improvement.Sales Strategy and Support:Identify potential market opportunities and areas for growth.Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales processes and strategies.Support sales teams with customer segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.Market Research:Conduct competitive analysis to understand competitors’ strategies, strengths, and weaknesses.Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies impacting sales.CRM Management:Ensure CRM systems are up-to-date with accurate sales data.Maintain the integrity and accuracy of sales data within CRM systems.Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, finance, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.Gather feedback from customers and sales teams to improve products and services.Training and Development:Educate sales teams on new sales tools, technologies, and data analysis techniques.Establish best practices for sales data analysis and reporting QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.2 years experience in a sales analyst or similar role.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of the [industry] market and competitive landscape is a plus.Onsite position, not a hybrid role.
