Position Description: As an Oil and Gas Production Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on lease sites. Your expertise in high voltage systems, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting will be essential in completing projects successfully. Additionally, your knowledge of the NEC will ensure compliance with industry standards. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Installation of panel racks, secondary electrical wiring from transformers to tank batteries and artificial lift according to local and national code. Overhead electrical installs on production locations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. 480 volt applications, installations, and sizing. Will be working with equipment to consist of, SWD (Salt Water Disposal) Pumps, LACTs, PD pumps, Air Compressors, General Oilfield Equipment (480v), I&E Facility Builds, Artificial Lift & Install, ESPs (transformers, VFDs, etc.), Rod Pumps (Electric Drive, VFD, etc). Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions as well as adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Requirements: 3 years of experience as an electrician with field oil and gas exposure. Proficient in working with high and low voltage electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Driver’s License. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Position Details: Location: Pecos, TX (Must live within 50 miles) Hitch: 5/2 (7AM-4PM) Pay Rate: $50 per hour.
