Summary Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.Essential DutiesUse various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furnitureBuild pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properlyMust be able to read and follow production ticketsMust be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuftMust follow all safety policies and proceduresAll other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious upholstery experience a plusPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
