This role will lead high-volume frame production for upholstered furniture, ensuring all frames and exposed wood components meet our highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. The Woodshop Lead will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and supporting the continued growth of our manufacturing capabilities. This position is based near our workroom in Downey, CA.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish and lead a woodshop team, producing frames to meet production deadlinesDevelop and implement quality control procedures at every stage of the frame productionDrive production flow and productivity, delivering consistent quality across scaled manufacturing operationsLead the training program development for frame productionEvaluate manufacturing feasibility by interpreting production documentation and shop drawings, implementing improvements as neededImplement lean manufacturing methods and/or machinery to optimize efficiencyPartner with cross-functional departments and business leads to align resources and maintain production scheduleCollaborate on the implementation of safety guidelines and procedures to ensure personal and team safetyLeverage technology for production planning and cost managementAssist in other areas of production operations as neededOUR REQUIREMENTS5+ years leading a woodshop, with comprehensive knowledge of fabrication methodsExperience building and leading scaled frame productionStrong time management and communication skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approachWork both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervisionUphold a commitment to quality, safety, and meticulous attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and Google Workspace for production tracking and communicationDemonstrate exceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and decision-making skillsBilingual in Spanish, preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSFrequently lift and mobilize furniture, materials, and accessories in excess of 50 lbs while adhering to safety guidelinesFrequently sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periodsFrequently maneuver throughout office spaces, the workroom floor, and loading docksDistinguish differences in color, shade, and brightnessJ-18808-Ljbffr
