Executive Assistant/Staff Assistant for Student Affairs

Administrative AssistantBack Bay Staffing Group is seeking an experienced administrative assistant who will manage the schedule of a very busy professional at a local university. Duties include:Prepares and analyzes briefing, background and other material in preparation for the Vice Chancellor's meetingsCoordinates with appropriate university staffing; implements appropriate follow through for meetings and appointmentsActs a liaison to other staff members regarding correspondence, scheduling, general office procedureManages all required administrative documentation such as purchase orders, pro-card log, travel expense reimbursements, and personnel action forms, including time sheet and bi-weekly payroll for office staffHire, schedule and supervise student employees delegating tasks and following up to ensure completionMinimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferredMust have a minimum of 3 to 5 years in an executive assistant role, preferably in an educational settingAdvanced proficiency in PeopleSoft for Financial, Student Data and Human Resource applications
