*No relocation* *Must be able to work w2 and possibly convert to full time* *CONTRACT: Long term* Pay: 50-65 per hour Desired Skills and ExperienceMust have over 8 years of successful full lifecycle IT technology project management experienceStrong experience within application dev, systems, infrastructure based projectsStrong understanding of databases, virtual machines, operating systems, networking, cloud, and security principlesExperience managing multi‑location or global technology projectsHands‑on ability to use SQL for queries and basic data analysisProficiency with project management tools (Wrike, MS Project, Monday.com)Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologiesExcellent communication, organization, and leadership abilitiesAbility to manage competing priorities and perform under pressureStrong analytical, problem‑solving, budgeting, and financial tracking skillsExperience with risk management, change control, and release managementStrong communicator, able to hold people accountable – will be giving executive presentationsStressing the importance of soft people skills and communication for maximum program efficiencyMUST HAVE great personality (exciting, engaging, not shy) able to communicate clearly across leaders and executives – hold people accountable to drive projects forward Plusses:PMP or equivalent certificationExperience in cruise, casino, or regulated industry environmentsPrior participation in PMO creation or scalingExperience working across diverse brand or platform architecturesVendor management or contract negotiation experience Day-to-Day Our Client is looking to bring on a local to Miami Florida Project Manager that will lead complex technology initiatives that support Global Gaming operations across multiple brands and regions. A typical day includes defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating timelines and resources while managing several projects simultaneously. The Project Manager works closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements, transforming them into actionable tasks and ensuring project alignment with objectives. They oversee testing cycles, validate deliverables, track defects, and ensure adherence to Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate. The role involves providing regular updates, dashboards, and executive‑level summaries while facilitating meetings to maintain clear communication. They also manage risks and issues, drive mitigation efforts, oversee release schedules and deployment planning, and ensure compliance with established governance and change control processes. Throughout delivery, the Project Manager collaborates with technical teams, application owners, and leadership to keep projects progressing smoothly, resolve roadblocks, and maintain quality, budget, and schedule discipline.
